This is the coffee that changes people's minds about what coffee can taste like. Grown at staggering altitudes (over 7,000 ft) in the Uraga mountains, these heirloom cherries ripen slowly, soaking up every bit of character the soil has to give.

The Taste:

Expect a heavy blueberry jam sweetness right off the bat. It’s juicy, vibrant, and incredibly smooth, rounded out by notes of wild honey and a crisp citrus finish that keeps it clean. It’s basically a fruit harvest in a cup.

This is a "unicorn" coffee. The first thing you’ll notice is the bean itself—they are massive. A rare hybrid of the Maragogype and Caturra varieties, these "elephant beans" are nearly double the size of a standard coffee bean. Coming from the high-altitude Dipilto region, this dry-processed lot is as bold and adventurous as it looks.

The Taste:

Think cherry cordials and dark tropical fruit. Because it’s a natural process, it has a heavy, syrupy body with a complex sweetness. You’ll catch deep notes of dried plum and baker’s chocolate, finished with a sophisticated, wine-like acidity that lingers just right.
